At ITW ALMA, we produce three types of contamination control mats - FirstStep™ mats, available in North America and Ideal Mats, available in Europe and Asia, for use in microelectronics, critical manufacturing and life sciences cleanrooms. CleanStep™ mats are for use in pharmaceutical processing, precision optics, healthcare, food, industrial, agricultural and other applications where portability of the mat is important.
FirstStep, Ideal Mat and CleanStep mats are constructed from the same base film and coated with the same pressure sensitive adhesive. FirstStep™ and Ideal Mats are anchored directly to the floor to prevent slipping and sliding. The CleanStep™ mat is mounted on a frame so that it can be used on a variety of surfaces and easily moved from one location to another.
