The Plasma Indicator is developed to monitor the different phases during the plasma sterilization process. Plasma sterilization (by means of the usage of hydrogen peroxide) is a process by low temperature. Due to this, this type of sterilization is very suitable for heat sensitive products. Since no cellulose can be used in this process, the indicator is manufactured of Tyvek material.
The ink will change from pink to yellow or lighter under the correct circumstances. The strips are conform EN-ISO 11140-1 (Type 1).
